One interesting idea is to do themed Instagram content over specific time frames. For example, you might decide to do a new theme each month – one month could focus on customer/client showcases or profiling. Another month might have the theme of giveaways, or follower Q&As. Get creative with it and develop themes that compliment your industry. The great thing about this concept is that it helps give you a guideline of what to be posting, and the content generated can be maximized in other ways like being turned into blog posts.
When marketing on Instagram, it is important that you add your Instagram activities to your daily routine. A lot of marketers may argue that you don’t have to post to your Instagram every single day. Which is absolutely fine. However, you do have to remain active by logging into your Instagram account regularly, interacting with content from your feed, follow other relevant experts and comment on photos/videos.
Money can be earned and spent, saved and pilfered, invested and wasted. Not time. That's why time is far more valuable than money. The point? When you lack the luxury of time, making money online (or offline) can seem like an impossible task. How are you supposed to do that when you're working at a life-sucking nine-to-five job? While the stability of full-time employment might allow most to sleep well at night, it doesn't empower your creative juices to search for new income-producing strategies.

With all of the changes Instagram has made to the way it orders users' feeds, it can be tough to get your content viewed by the followers who might not interact with your posts on a regular basis. Occassionally add a CTA to your posts (and even your profile) that tells people to turn on post notifications. This causes them to receive a notification every time you post something on Instagram, greatly increasing the chance they'll see it and interact with your brand, which ends up boosting your organic reach. Think of it as the equivalent of an email newsletter for your Instagram feed.
A particular campaign that works is a chain campaign. Create a partnership with 5-6 large accounts and have each one share an image of the campaign and the next channel with text introducing the campaign, which usually involves a winner of some sort of a contest. Channel one links to channel two, channel three links to channel four and so on. Everyone will gain new followers in the process and the last channel will introduce the account behind the contest and the winner. Another Instagram strategy that I found to work is to create a very specific theme for the account and stick to it. This includes colors, filters, style, subjects, etc. The more homogeneous they are, the better.
As you start regularly putting out content, you’ll hopefully start to build a bit of an audience. But to start seeing real money from YouTube you need to market your videos elsewhere. Share your channel on Twitter and Facebook. Distribute videos anywhere else you can think of. Also, interact with comments and build a community around the videos you’re making so people will share it with their friends.
Every year, hundreds of millions of documents are notarized in the United States: wills, mortgages, citizenship forms, handgun applications. While for decades, this has all been done in person, there is a budding crop of sites that allow notaries to take their services online. If you’re already a notary, you can sell your services online. Or, if you want to get started, check out the National Notary’s checklist for becoming a certified notary.
Instagram is a photo-sharing platform. The photo itself is key. You shouldn’t take a picture just to post one, and you certainly shouldn’t post just any picture. When you’ve determined your subject matter, be sure to keep in mind the following photography best practices. I know – it sounds like a lot of work. But I can tell you the brands that are absolutely slaying the Instagram game are taking the time to do this and seeing the results.
With Instagram’s change to an algorithmic timeline, timing is now one of many elements considered by the algorithm when it decides what content to show you. So it’s important to post at the times when your content is likely to pick up the most engagement. Our hunch here is Instagram’s algorithm may then determine this post should appear near the top of your follower’s feeds.

As the leader in image sharing apps, Instagram has become a household name over the last few years with more than 40 million photos being uploaded daily to their platform. Users are racking up a total of 1,000 comments and more than 8,000 likes on Instagram every second. Additionally, according to 2017 stats, 24 percent of all the USA’s population are using Instagram.
Infographics are currently an extremely popular type of media. An infographic showing information or data in an interesting and fun way can help engage an audience and generate numerous likes and shares. As infographics take more time to create than just simply uploading an image, busy website owners are prepared to pay for custom infographics. And don’t worry, an infographic can be created using simple design software such a Canva. So extensive graphic design skills are not necessary, just a creative eye.
On your Instagram feed, you can like, comment, and message posts. You can also save them, using the ribbon icon in the right corner. When you tap it, you’ll see Save to Collection pop up along the bottom of the post. If the image or video you’ve saved falls into a collection, such as UGC content or inspiration, you can create a collection for that content.
Many people fancy themselves as designers. If you have a unique idea for a new product then it may be time to get it designed. This can be a long process involving prototypes, discussions with factories, package design, and much more. However, the profits once the product is on the market could be substantial. And remember, with Amazon FBA, your products can all be stored and shipped by Amazon, giving you time to think up your next invention. Find a profitable niche: We’ve talked about this a lot. But, where are you most comfortable. What niche do your skills, values, and interests intersect? Do you have 10 years of experience as a technical writer? Do you have long-standing PR relationships that’ll be invaluable in helping startups launch a successful crowdfunding campaign? Determine what makes your value unique, and lean heavily on showcasing that strength to your potential clients.
For business owners who want to scale follower growth, it is important to build a strong Instagram community. If a user finds some time to read and comment on your post, take a few minutes to respond and thank them. Try to spend at least one hour on commenting, liking and following people. Ask questions or offer advice to your followers that will add a simple personal touch. If you actively engage with your audience, you can reach out to influencers and ask them to mention you. Making lunch meetings with influencers can also help you get more exposure. Introducing your Instagram profile through a friend will meet less resistance and result in getting new followers.
Getting businesses to advertise on your podcast, either at the beginning or end, or both, is a great way to create a revenue through podcasts. Most businesses won’t be keen to advertise on your podcast until you can prove a large number of listeners. Therefore, it is unlikely you will be able to start out from the get-go with sponsors. But once you accumulate regular listeners, or a high number of downloads from iTunes, you can start to sell advertising space on your podcasts.
Your competitors can be a great source of inspiration for your own Instagram posts. You should try to research what they are doing, what their daily Instagram activity is like and how they do their posts. For example, check out how eBay posts an image in Instagram and how it has a great short description that reflects the image concept. Sometimes posting an image won’t really mean anything unless you explain how it relates to your product and services. Your image should include a caption that expresses the right message that your are trying to relay to your followers. It’s with the right caption that your visitors will understand the product or services for the image with a hashtag. Big companies would invest serious time researching the impact of hashtags which most small companies would overlook. So it really works to research the core concept from your competitors who are doing really well and try to follow what they do.
More than half a billion products are sold on Amazon every month, making it an incredible opportunity to make money online. But, like everything else that involves making money online, you have to do quite a bit of work to earn it. One option on Amazon is to find products that are already made and buy and sell them at a discount. For example, you could research generic products such as clocks, keychains and mugs to attach to your brand. For an incredible deep dive on how to make extra money with this strategy, check out how digital marketer Neil Patel recently did this as a public experiment right here on his blog.

If your followers are not used to seeing many posts per day from you, you could annoy them and cause them to stop following you. If you do not have a team working on your Instagram account, it’s likely challenging to consistently put out high-quality content several times a day. When you run out of content ideas and stop posting consistently, you risk losing followers, which Union Metrics discovered in their study.
We use influencer marketing as part of our digital marketing strategy for Instagram, and it’s our favorite platform because we get the most engagement out of it. Our target audience includes fashion oriented people who attend music festivals and enjoy electronic dance music. We engage in influencer marketing in a variety of ways. First, we find popular accounts who meet our criteria for selection, and we engage in a conversation to gauge whether or not it’s a good fit. We also use a platform called Tomoson, which is tool that helps pair influencers with brands. Often times, we will send one of our products to an influencer for free, in exchange for an honest review that is posted to their Instagram followers. For us, the most important element of an influencer package, aside from cultural fit, is the overall reach of their account. We measure our return on investment based on the number of impressions we receive, how much referral traffic we get, and of course – how many sales come as a result of the campaign.
People tend to watch videos to the end that are 15 seconds or less. In this case, GIFs are more attractive than images, and they are shared more than JPEG or PNG formats. So, creating and posting eye-catching GIFs becomes mandatory. Instagram offers a great library of GIF stickers. Adding GIFs on Instagram Stories will help you mark key elements in your story and attract your followers’ attention.
Matched Betting (not available in the USA) enables you to gamble (nearly) risk-free. I say nearly as there is always room for error! If you don’t know who your audience is, you will not know how to serve them better. Even if you manage to post great photographs and videos, you won’t find success unless your content is seen by your target audience. This is why you need to put an extra effort to learn more about your audience and the kind of content they like so that you can post more of it. Remember, the more effort you put into understanding and studying your Instagram followers, the better results you will see from your marketing efforts.

“We’re going to see a rise in long-form content,” said Spendesk inbound marketing manager Patrick Whatman. “That’s intentional on the part of Facebook: It brought in IGTV specifically to let people go long. The rationale is sound, too: It knows that teens and young people love watching vloggers on YouTube. It also knows that these same people love watching videos on their phones. So, in direct competition with YouTube, it built a format that lets these vloggers create videos for the vertical screen—the same screen that young people love to watch on the bus or in the car.”
Asking questions to your followers works great for increasing engagement. The reason being simple, people like to feel valued and heard. More specifically, they want you to see their opinions as important. By asking the right questions you create a more engaging community. It could be as simple as asking your followers about their day or what their immediate future plans are. Or you could simply take a photograph of your new office space and ask you followers for their opinions. The point is, you have to interact with them and get them to talk with you. Give your Instagram marketing a human touch. Initially you may not get the kind of response you are looking for, but gradually you will see more and more people replying back.
Ebay is a bellwether. It's been around since nearly the start of the online boom. But, like any other platform, success can seem fleeting if you don't know what you're doing. Selling items on eBay, professionally that is, can be an art form. Getting people interested in your auctions isn't always easy, especially when there's hefty competition and low demand for what you're selling.

With the growing popularity of Instagram marketing over recent years, the value is clear. If the features we listed above didn’t convince you of Instagram’s appeal, this might: the photo-sharing app recently celebrated 1 billion monthly active users. More importantly, these users are incredibly engaged, with more than 60 percent logging in every single day.

Selling digital products can be just as successful as selling physical products. Graphics, software, eBooks, design elements, sound effects, songs and videos are just a few types of digital products that are in popular demand. So if you can turn your hand to creating digital products, let’s have a look at how you can make money online from this skill…
Compared to videos and photos, Instagram Stories require more active engagement by users. A user must tap into your business’ story at the top of the feed to engage with the content and from here they can watch it in full, tap through, or swipe out of Stories completely. So in addition to impressions and reach, you can also uncover your Stories’ exits and replies.
To get a clear view of your online activity success, you should definitely monitor Instagram metrics (posts and followers, latest posts, posts, top posts, likes and comments, engagement rate etc.). It is also important to compare your results to those of your competitors. Thus you can spy on what works best for them. It’s always a good idea to learn from the best practices. Metrics dashboards help catch the moment when something goes wrong (less comments, likes etc), as visual information is always more digestible. In other words, measuring is absolutely necessary, and it’s easier to monitor metrics on dashboards. There are a lot of online dashboard services, including Octoboard, with its forever free version.
