When choosing a symbol for your logo there are three things to consider. 1. Understand your brands personality or culture. 2. Understand your audience and target them for memorability. 3. Choose a design associated to your business industry. Each industry has its own symbol type that automatically helps your customers associate your business with it. Browse through the following industries to find out how their symbols differentiate from each other
If someone tags you in a post, it’ll show up when you click person icon in the menu under your Instagram bio. Your followers can see this, too. To hide a tagged post from this menu, click the three dots in the top right corner and choose Hide Photos. Select the posts you want to remove and click Hide Photos again. This won’t remove the posts from Instagram, but it’ll remove them from your profile.
Post a photo (or a couple photos) of your products with descriptions or a call-to-action in the caption. Then, urge your customers to buy! If you want to maximize your chances at a sale, considering adding a limited-time offer or discount to your ads. Giving people a reason they should act or buy now rather than later is an effective way to increase the conversion rate of your ads. If you're a service, consider creating an offer (like a consultation or assessment) that you can give out in exchange for a potential customer's lead information.
If you are a confident web developer then designing your own themes is an obvious path to follow if you are looking to make money online. ThemeForest sells a wide assortment of developers themes, including themes for WordPress, Shopify, Weebly, and Tumblr, to name a few. Once you have created your theme, get it accepted onto the ThemeForest marketplace and make money each time it sells.
In your bio, include the link into of a landing page that will help increase conversions, promote your e-commerce site, etc. If you want to add any hashtags “#” or profile usernames “@” to your bio, they will become clickable. For example, you can use a personal profile to promote your business profile on Instagram, or just let others know where you work by sharing your company’s username.
Each company has a different target audience. So, your audience will have different active time on Instagram. Many social media specialists have wondered what time is that right time to post on social media. Social media specialists have to be mindful of the target audience’s location. For GREAT WINE, Inc., as we target audience in both the U.S and China, we depend on both time zones to schedule our posts. So, do not follow the posting schedule rule you find on the internet. However, note that do not overwhelm your audience; be mindful with your post frequency.
Some businesses may be interested in adding other types of paid content to your website. This could include videos, podcasts, or any other material that would work with your site and help a business market itself. Always make sure that paid content isn’t too promotional. It needs to add value to your audience first and foremost, and not just present as an advert.
If I have a blog that is getting 100,000 page views a month that means that I’m probably getting at least 50,000 people to the site (most blogs will do between 1.2 to 1.4 pages per session). That means I have to try and get some small percentage of those people to buy something from me if I really want to do well. If I can’t get them to buy something then (in some cases) I have ads running on the site that will make me money anyways.
Outsourcing is the new and dominant wave of the business world. As businesses shed employees, they increasingly turn to independent contractors to supply what in-house staff used to do. One of the ways they do this is through virtual assistants. These are people who provide certain tasks online. Businesses can use virtual assistants as much or as little as they need to. If you can make yourself available to multiple businesses, you might have plenty of work without ever leaving your house.
However, not matter what method you choose to make money online, understand that you might be able to make some money fast, but for the sizable returns, you'll need significant sweat equity. However, a year from now, you'll be happy you started today. Remember, time is far more valuable than money. Focus on creating passive income streams that will free up your time so that you can quit the rat race and focus on the things that matter. That's the important thing here.
Today, if you're at all serious about succeeding in any endeavor, whether online or offline, you have to deliver enormous amounts of value. Yes, you have to do the most amount of work for the least initial return. This is especially true online. Why? Because it takes time to build authority and create an audience, two primary ingredients necessary to succeed in the wonderful world of commerce on the web.
Online business is how I’ve made a living since 2003 and what has helped me retire early.  I make over $40,000 a month through my blog. You can create your own blog here with my easy 15-minute step-by-step tutorial.  You can start a blog for as little as $2.95 a month (less than a cup of coffee!).  Create a blog and leverage it into affiliate sales or product endorsement deals. Consider topics like:
Do you remember those brand guidelines we mentioned? It’s not just your pictures that should adhere to them. When writing your caption, you should always keep in mind the written voice of your brand. What are the typical attributes you associate it with? Whether it’s fun, authoritative, bold, whimsical, or any combination, your Instagram captions should strive to maintain your organization’s tone.
Next, you need to set up and build your YouTube channel. Your YouTube channel is your homebase for all your content. If you already have a Google account for Gmail or Google Drive, then you can use that to log-in to YouTube and start setting up your channel. Pick a username that works for you and is memorable (if you’re using an existing Google account you’ll have to edit your username in Google+).
Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links and at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission. Know that I only recommend products, tools and learning resources I've personally used and believe are genuinely helpful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to purchase them. Most of all, I would never advocate for buying something that you can't afford or that you're not yet ready to implement.
My name is Jamie Spencer and I have spent the past 5 years building money making blogs. After growing tired of the 9-5, commuting and never seeing my family I decided that I wanted to make some changes and launched my first blog. Since then I have launched lots of successful niche blogs and after selling my survivalist blog I decided to teach other people how to do the same.
There isn’t a magic posting formula that will work for every brand. You need to test and see how your audience responds. As a starting point, I would suggest posting twice daily, alternating times of the day to find out when your highest engagement occurs. Then start to experiment with more and less posts per day, really paying attention to engagement. Once you find your sweet spot, the work doesn’t stop -- as your following increases you will have to adjust. Post frequency optimization is a never ending task.
If you choose to build these posts, try your best to make them relevant to your audience. For example, HubSpot is a B2B software company that posts motivational quotes on its profile semi-regularly. While this is a practice that could quickly get tired, HubSpot keeps it fresh by posting quotes focused on business or success (which its audience likely appreciates) and keeping the image itself colorful and eye-catching.

Designing layouts and graphics for promotional material, corporate reports, magazines or book covers, are all tasks that businesses are looking for online freelancers to complete. We use influencer marketing as part of our digital marketing strategy for Instagram, and it’s our favorite platform because we get the most engagement out of it. Our target audience includes fashion oriented people who attend music festivals and enjoy electronic dance music. We engage in influencer marketing in a variety of ways. First, we find popular accounts who meet our criteria for selection, and we engage in a conversation to gauge whether or not it’s a good fit. Often times, we will send one of our products to an influencer for free, in exchange for an honest review that is posted to their Instagram followers. For us, the most important element of an influencer package, aside from cultural fit, is the overall reach of their account. We measure our return on investment based on the number of impressions we receive, how much referral traffic we get, and of course – how many sales come as a result of the campaign.
Instagram filters can make amateur photographers feel like pros. And if you don’t have high-end photography equipment or editing software, they’re a great way to enhance photos with just a few taps. Filters can drastically change the look and feel of a photo or video, so it’s important to use only a few that you feel best represent your brand — and stick to the few you’ve chosen. Using a different filter for every post can quickly make an Instagram feed feel a little disjointed.
The number of collaborations between brands are growing every day. Partnering with other brands can help you reach your target audience, get more followers and build strong relationships with other brands. Just find relevant businesses in your industry and create joint marketing campaigns. You can run a contest, giveaway, or create a promotional offer together to generate sales from your partnership.
It’s something akin to picking stocks. You want to buy undervalued domains, and sell them later on at a higher price. For example, you can pick a domain that is out of favor, but could be related to some future event. So if you decide that the stock market is likely to crash in the future, you can buy a domain that includes the words stock market crash during a rising market, and then sell it in a falling market.
A great course to understand Instagram Marketing from scratch. Benji taught the course in a friendly manner. I never used Instagram before this course, but his teaching approach made me quite comfortable and I gradually picked pace. P.S: Benji, I would really appreciate if you could provide more examples related to Instagram Business tools as well.

6. IZEA – IZEA works in addition to a blog or on its own. You get paid to blog, tweet, take photos and take videos. A website called AchieveMint gives you points for engaging in healthy activities, like exercise, tracking your eating habits, or even taking health related surveys. More than half a billion products are sold on Amazon every month, making it an incredible opportunity to make money online. But, like everything else that involves making money online, you have to do quite a bit of work to earn it. One option on Amazon is to find products that are already made and buy and sell them at a discount. For example, you could research generic products such as clocks, keychains and mugs to attach to your brand. For an incredible deep dive on how to make extra money with this strategy, check out how digital marketer Neil Patel recently did this as a public experiment right here on his blog.

Once you have decided what type of product you are going to sell, you need to decide where to sell them. Selling merchandise on Amazon or eBay aren’t your only options. Creating your own eCommerce store is another way to promote your products and generate sales. Once you have decided what you are going to sell, whether it is white labeled products, your own designs, or other people’s merchandise, you can set up an eCommerce website to display these products.

Adding calls-to-action (CTA) to your post makes your followers take a specific action (contact you, lead to your site or buy a product). It is essential to keep them short, actionable and clear. If you want to increase the number of sales and generate more traffic, get your followers to visit your website. Always follow up on your promises and CTAs. For example, Zaful created a sense of urgency by using the attention-grabbing CTA like “Only 72 hours” in order to make their followers buy right away. Adding urgency to your CTAs makes consumers feel a fear of missing out.
Collaborate with a team or a business partner on your logo design by clicking on the “Share” button then choosing either the “People” tab to send an email or “Link” tab to generate a unique link to your design. Make sure to choose the “Can edit” option. People you choose to share your design with can then access and edit your design through their personal Canva accounts.

Good content is the key to your Instagram marketing success. Keep an eye on engagement-based content instead of promotional. Experiment with different types of content. You can use a mixture of videos, photos and text, a Carousel feature, a before-and-after sequence in one slideshow post or showcase your most popular products in different pictures. I really love the idea of “Spot the Difference” posts. It is a unique and fun way to focus on your brand without sounding self-promotional and can help to improve your engagement. Here is a good example from Paula Norris that demonstrates a “spot the difference” post. She shows how decreasing or increasing the portion of your food can influence your overall calorie intake.
I know – this sounds like a lot of work. And, I’ll be honest with you, it is. Taking the time to edit each photo and ensure it fits with your brand’s aesthetic is indeed an extra step that other social media platforms don't require. That said, it’s more than worth it. This step can be the difference between having an Instagram profile that looks cluttered and disorganized and having an Instagram profile that looks like your favorite influencer developed it.

We’re a team of experts committed to streamlining the branding process for small businesses. Our company was founded on the belief that powerful branding should be accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level, background in design or budget size; as a result, we’ve created a platform that will take the wings of any business’s story and turn it into a brand that can fly.

This can be even tougher when it comes to sourcing images for your Facebook and Twitter accounts. As marketers, we know that social media users love a post with visuals. In fact, they regularly see more engagement than posts with only text. However,, we don’t want to slap up a stock photo with every Facebook status or include a subpar picture in a tweet just for the sake of having an image.
